CONGRATULATIONS!!! Governor Christie has officially vetoed the Liberty
Natural Gas project! After nearly four years of hard work, we have seen
the end of 3 LNG projects for now. Thank you to all of you for your
efforts in making this possible. =20

Despite the Governor's letter, the Coast Guard is still moving ahead
with the hearings. It is important that everyone still attends and
encourages others to attend as well. Have your testimony ready to go
and bring copies with you if you can.

All meetings will begin with a 5-6pm "open house" where information on
the projects will be displayed. The public comment period of the
hearings will be held from 6:30 to 8pm (or later, if the Coast Guard
determines that more time is needed to allow everyone to be heard). We
advise you to get there early to get parking and a seat! Our website
has an RSVP form and other information about the hearings, project, and
LNG in general if people want to use that as a resource,
